Jeff Martel - Broker - Marketing Director
Jeff has seemingly been in Real Estate his entire life by watching his parents become successful Real Estate investors while growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. This experience inspired him early to learn what it takes to make it in Real Estate. Although Jeff decided to take a different direction in College and study Graphic Design and Marketing - it somehow always comes back to Real Estate. As the Marketing Director of 43 Degrees North Real Estate, Jeff's sole mission is to make our clients properties look good. From Print, to Media, to Web, he understands how to create memorable marketing campaigns that translate into sales. Jeff holds a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and has been trained in multiple disciplines for marketing. Jeff has also worked for national and multi-national marketing agencies both in California and Idaho. Jeff has worked on Branding, Identity, Advertising, and Packaging projects for clients such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Frontier Natural Foods, Con-Agra, and multiple small to mid-sized companies. He draws on his vast background of experience to create solutions for our clients that help promote projects in a cost-effective and successful manner that generate results. Jeff has the ideas that help grow our clients business, increase market-share, and make a statement.
Jeff has fully embraced the Idaho lifestyle since moving to Eagle, Idaho seven years ago. An avid fly-fisherman and enjoyer of all things outdoors - Jeff has found the perfect place to call home here in the Treasure Valley. Jeff and his beautiful wife Lyndi feel lucky to be able to raise their three daughters in such a beautiful and safe environment. Dawn Smith - Associate Broker

A consistent top producer, Dawn’s priorities in life include staying educated and always making it fun. She has a love for the Mountains, and adventures. It has been her love for this lifestyle that made Dawn seek out a career that keeps her in the heart of the land she loves the most, the mountains. Her passion for the “hills” has manifested itself in her taking her knowledge of Real Estate and love for the Mountains and incorporating it into her career and she has become a “Mountain property Real Estate specialist”. Dawn specializes in the unique nuances of Mountain properties.
In the past Dawn has owned an advertising specialty business for 14 years, a white water rafting company for 5 years, and for 16 years and still counting, she owns a Commercial Playground Installation company. She started selling Real estate in Garden Valley in 2004 and has been awarded the “Circle of Excellence”, which recognizes the industry’s highest producers, consecutively. Dawn is enthusiastic, persistent, open minded and motivated. She believes in moving forward with positive energy and being grateful for everything in this life.

Tom Hutchison - Associate Broker
Besides being a broker for nearly 40 years, Tom ran his own his own realty company – and most recently owned and operated Payette River Realty. Tom is a mature Christian who is married to his wife of 24+ years– Edie, and together they have a large family including 7 children and their spouses, plus a “grundle” of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tom & Edie have resided in Garden Valley along with their “other kids” (their dogs and cats) for the past 13 years. During their years in Garden Valley, Tom has served his community as Chamber of Commerce President, and has served several years on the local hospital board.
During his college years, Tom coached the I.S.U. Rodeo Team and paid for much of his education as a Professional Rodeo Cowboy, competing in the National Rodeo Finals, Saddle-Bronc and Bull Riding events. At that same time, he served as President of his business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, and also served as national Vice President.
Throughout time, Tom has seen a vast number of changes in not only the real estate market, but in the economy in general. As such, his experience in all areas of his career plus his continuing education have proven to be extremely valuable assets to clients on both sides of a transaction. In addition, anyone who has ever owned his own business can tell you that being the “boss” also means you are a servant to all and that includes being “the chief, cook and bottle washer.” When you sum up all of these facts, you’ll find Tom to be a man who can handle just about anything that comes up – always in the fullness of integrity and with great imagination, negotiation skills, grace, poise and confidence.
